1. City Tour – 3 hours
A classic private tour to see Sofia's city centre with its historic, archaeological and architectural landmarks with a professional tour guide speaking your language!
2. This tour includes:
- The Church of St. Nedelya (opposite the Sheraton Hotel ). Built in medieval times and known as the Church of the Blessed Sveti Kral . The current building was reconstructed after 1925 when it was almost completely destroyed by a bomb explosion.
- The National Art Gallery & Ethnographic Museum (housed in the west wing of Sofia's former King's Palace, the National Art Gallery's 12,000 exhibits feature works by the most prominent 19th and 20th-century Bulgarian artist);
- Passing by nice Baroque buildings, we will reach the National Assembly Square ,
- The monument of Russian Tzar Alexander II, whose troops liberated Bulgaria from the 500 years Turkish yoke.
- The Islamic mosque and the Jewish Synagogue
- The Hali - a famous market hall in the heart of Sofia, a charming mixture between modern life and a somehow Oriental spirit coupled with extremely friendly people is an experience not to be missed.
- The Al. Newski Cathedral - with its golden domes, impressive interior, icons and colourful mosaics;
- The St. George Rotunda (4th c.) – a fine monument of Roman architecture;
- Boyana chirch - one of the oldest chirch in Bulgarian's history
